"The gnarled but powerful Hand of Gandalf bears the Ring of Fire, Narya the Great. Known also as Mithrandir to the elves and Tharkun to the dwarves, Gandalf the Grey was a powerful wizard who received Narya from Cirdan the Shipwright and became the only non-elven bearer of an elven ring. Narya was crafted by Celebrimbor, the celebrated elven smith who created Galadriel's Nenya and Elrond's Vilya. Gandalf's knotted digits clasp a clear drinking cup suitable for port or sherry.
